I created a gently surreal, dreamlike style of illustration called Creatures of Maine featuring outlined anthropomorphic creatures in everyday settings. The name is inspired by the word “creature” relating to “creation” and New England being where I was born and first started to draw. Although I’ve frequently ventured successfully outside of this approach, the style continues to be one of my favorite creative modes.
